On Wednesday, LZ1 were lucky enough to have cooking for their Mandarin class. It was very timely because it's Matariki - a time to celebrate the New Year with special food. They helped cook the chow mein and then shared and ate the food...remembering to use their manners in Mandarin 謝謝
Xièxiè or thank you.

The classes also had their Te Reo class and made fortune tellers to practice counting in Maori.

This last week we were busy learning about Matariki and working together to create Matariki stars and manu tukutuku.
