We have been exploring patterns
in nature and finding Maths in Art.
Did you know that the Fibonacci
sequence of numbers describes the curves and spirals of many things in nature – the curl of a shell, an
ocean wave, an opening fern frond, pinecones and pineapples?
Our spirals are based on the
Fibonacci sequence.
The next number in the
Fibonacci pattern comes from adding the two numbers before it….1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21,
34…….
