Waitakere Transfer Station Trip

We know the environment we live in needs to be protected and looked after.

This term in LZ1 our inquiry projects are based on helping the environment we live in, but who would've thought that a trip to the dump could be so interesting and inspiring.

Every week Auckland covers the equivalent of our school playing field, to the height of the rugby posts with rubbish!  We all have to change what we do to reduce this!

Zero Waste is an extremely important idea, especially when so much of Auckland's waste is coming right to our doorstep and being put in the enormous landfill across the road from the school!
Its a race, sorting the waste!
